Just go up to a boat and ask for a job. They will ask if you have any knowledge of what they are fishing for as well as any knowledge of ever being on a boat. Depending on the size of the vessel you are on, you might need to be licensed and if thats the case certain captian's school offer an able body seaman course to get licensed as a merchant mariner
