jones beach air show

Does anyone know what radio station will simulcast the audio for the air show. I am going to be rafted up in Zach's bay with fellow FTC member Bryon King and others to celebrate his daughters birthday and enjoy the show.

The air show on Saturday was great! We watched everything from front row center between fields 6 and 4 on the beach.
If you've never seen the show from the beach you should give it a try. It's the ONLY place where you'll see the entire show.

My guess is that todays show will happen but maybe start a little late. We'll be down at the club putting the boat back together so we can get out and fish!

It was a great show. We watch from Zach's Bay and saw almost everything that was happening out in front of the needle and to the east of it. The Blue Angels were amazing and flew over the bay numerous times.

went to the show both sat and sunday , great show both days, had some great company with raft up , paul rocketfish noto, sean aurora libby, joe leonardi, tony island girl , and a few non members we had 11 boats rafting up great time had by all

Was at the show most of the day Saturday 11-3 anchored out in the ocean at the edge of the no-entry zone about 1/4 mi west of the Needle. Only about 50-60 boats out there.
I am not sure I follow Bill's comment that the beach is the only place you can see the whole show?
I can't see how from 1 nm off the beach, I could possible have missed anything.

There are activites on the beach that you can't see. Standing 30 feet away from the landing target of the parachute jumpers is one example. Watching the watermelons drop from the B-17 is another.
IMHO the best place to be is on the sand, #2 is out in the ocean.
If you're over in Zach's bay you're having a great party but you miss most of the show.
Also, you miss the bikini babes! lol
