We're sitting in Stuart waiting to get hit later today. This is looking bad down here.
This bitch needs to move east!

Thanks Jim,
Everything's shutting down around here now... The track and strength of this storm doesn't look good at all.

There's a lot more boats down here than safe harbor so tomorrow isn't going to be pretty in a lot of places.

Hunkered down listening to the roar outside. Radar shows the eye wall is getting near, maybe 2-3 hours until max impact.
Still have power but it's been flickering. This won't be a night for sleeping!

It looks like we got through it pretty well. Still blowing tropical storm speed but damage that I can see isn't bad.
Should be able to drive and check on boat around noon. Hope the other areas around here did the same!

p.s.
Just got call. Boat ok where I left it. Hope the rest of the folks in the path of Matthew have the same luck.

You see Bill all those little prayers do work. I hope the boat is fine, sounds like you had it pretty well secured and protected. Be careful in the aftermath and clean-up. Lets hope the storm turns east and dies in the ocean. You got your Florida baptism early on lets hope it's clear sailing the rest of the way. How did Bill and Dee fair with the storm?

Bill and Dee rode it out ok also. Boat was tied up well in Manatee Pocket, house not damaged.
