Ryan's first fishing trip

My daughter found this photo rummaging through some old albums. That's her sitting down in the boat. Ryan is headed out for his first fishing adventure in this photo. He looks sharp in his red feathered fishing cap. Target species is flounder. The boat is my 25 Bertram. Year is 1988. Ryan is approximately 1.5 years old (notice the walker in the boat). Some may recognize the location as the basin at the property. This was of course before the re-build. But we did have floating docks on the south side of the basin. I'm standing on it. You may recognize Ed Schuh's Anita M to starboard. You can tell its early in the season because there are many boat's not in the water (don't believe all those stories about all the boats being in by April). Hank Lunde docked his 26 Stamas to port. He never came around till the beginning of shark season in June.

hey mike great old photo the kids, of course are adorable. it's also good to think back to ed schuh (he was "the man") and hank. now lets talk about your hairline. i don't know who's forehead has gotten longer - yours or mine!
