I had known Larry some time and only got to fish with him once or twice in the 120 years I knew Larry. I could always count on seeing Larry at the NY Boat Show as he would stop by The Fishing Line booth to shoot the breeze with me and break up the monotonous grind. He was truly one of the good guys sharing info freely and never holding in back. He was a straight shooter and all around nice guy. He will be missed. Services will be at Fairchild's Sons Funeral Home at 1201 Franklin Ave Garden City, NY. Services Monday March 31 2014 3 - 9 PM then the Church Service Tuesday April 1 2014 11 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church located at 24 Westminster Rd West Hempstead NY.
