NEW YORK – SHINNECOCK BAY TO EAST ROCKAWAY INLET – LONG CREEK TO SLOOP CHANNEL – Notice of Temporary Deviation
– The Commander, First Coast Guard District, has issued a temporary deviation from the regulation governing the operation of the Loop Parkway and
Meadowbrook State Parkway Bridges, across Long Creek and Sloop Channel at mile 0.7 and at mile 12.8, respectively. Under this temporary deviation both
bridges may remain in the closed position on Sunday September 8, 2013 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to facilitate the 2013 Dee Snider’s Rider. Mariners are advised to plan their transits accordingly.
