Oktoberfest

Post by Mike S »

As we have come to expect the Oktoberfest held at the property last night was outstanding. My favorite is the sauerbraten with red cabbage and potato pancakes. But you couldn’t go wrong with the fresh pretzels, potato soup and bratwurst based on how they disappeared. Thank you to the Captain Anglers’ crew and particularly to special guest chef John Weber for a special evening enjoyed with friends and fellow club members. (Can someone tell me where to get one of those Bavarian hats for next year?)

Well said Mike. It was really a great time. Great food, drink and company. It is events like last night that make it very clear why we are the best fishing club around. For those who did not attend, you owe it to yourself to attend next year. Thanks to Captain Anglers and John Weber for all their hard work.
