Upon arriving home from work today, a "get well" gift basket of goodies was waiting for me. I would like to thank my friends in the club for the very thoughtful gesture, it is very much appreciated. While I am recovering, at almost 100% of my old self, I wish I could say the same for my dad. His recent procedure did not go as well as expected, so he will have to have more extensive reconstructive surgery on his throat after the first of the year.
