hey nick. I hope all is well . as far as an April blackfish season it certainly sounds like its a go but I can not get anyone to say that its definite. no one seems to want to say that we're definitely gonna be allowed to keep blacks this spring. I would love to get a definitive answer

The seabass discussion seems to be getting top priority. I Asked the question on Nor East, Chris "Doughboy" is knowledgeable and close to the information. He can't say for sure. As Mike said seems like a go, but you never know. Too bad we suffer in the fall, to gain a couple in the spring. See what happens. Not a big deal for most either way.
To save this species need to greatly restrict "commercial" live market, best would be to make commercial possession of tog illegal. 25 per boat per day, 10-11 months of the year is too many considering the state of the population and slow growth of the species.

3 fish per man in the fall? What kind of buffoonery is this? I don't really understand the logic behind that low of a number at all.
