Todays Fluke Trip 5/11/2012

Spent most of the incoming and part of the outgoing tide making drifts from near west bar then northeast towards the Coast Guard station. Wind and current was such that I burned less than 9 gallons of fuel. Not much in the way of fluke action, but boated 6 nice cocktail blues, mostly on squid heads, while losing several others at the surface when the bit through our fluke rig mono. A nice day on the water, only disappointed my son was in school and missed the bluefish action.
