Shana Miller was awesome and put on a great presentation on the lives of the prized Bluefin Tuna, and what her organization does to help track and manage this warm blooded predator. We also got some Yellowfin tidbits thrown in as well! Please check out http://www.tagagiant.org/ to see more of what Shana's organization is about. Thanks to the members who were able to buy TAG shirts to support the cause - and thanks to the FTC for buying a few for the raffle! Also, the tax deductible discounted charters where you can "tag" along" on a tagging expedition and help them catch the Giants in NC or Canada sound great!! Hopefully some members can avail themselves of this. Kudos also to the membership for asking some great questions and being great hosts. - Entertainment Committee

Great presentation, packed with information. The part about rampant illegal/overfishing in the Yellowfin spawning area off of Africa hit home. It's certainly one of the reasons that the Yellowfin fishing around here is becoming a memory...
