Boat hauling

Post by Old Sam »

For all those who used South Bay boat haulers to place their boats in their back yards they have gone out of business. It is not known if the company that purchased the business will be hauling boats. There is a company Called Kevel Marine in massapequa who is a dock builder and does hauling. They can be found with a google search. It's worth a shot to give them a call if you need hauling. If I get more information or if someone has information, a post on this site might help some club members out.

boy, thats a bit scary. I used to use that service but stopped a few years back because it had become unreliable-and I feared this would happen. my property has no access to the backyard other than from the canal so I decided it was too risky. I didn't want to get stuck with my boat on my back lawn and inaccessible. if I hear of any alternatives(a few of my neighbors will need an alternative, and may come up with another hauler) I will post it here. thanks for the heads up Bob
