I am setting up this post as a running commentary of the 2015 FTC Fluke Calcutta. As most know, this contest is open to FTC members and runs the entire NYS DEC fluke season. Entry is $10 and largest fish of the season takes all. Rules are simple: 1) the fluke can be caught from any port 2) the fish must be weighed at a valid weigh station, and 3) the fish must be free swimming and caught with hook and line at the time of capture. The winner gets his name posted on the Duke of Fluke plaque and bragging rights for, well I guess for as long as you want.
So far there are 75 members signed up. Charlie Goldstein leads with a 7 1/2 lb. fish.
