A message from Dad:

Tomorrow's morning hunt is dedicated to the memory of a friend, a true sportsman, always a gentleman and former President of the Freeport Tuna Club, Ron Leonardi.

Ron was the membership committee chairman 26 years ago who "sunk the gaff" in me to join the club and get involved. He was also our neighboring boat for many years at the club property.

The decoy center of this picture, a gift from Ron to Christopher and I, will be left in the bay in his memory tomorrow. Easier water under your keel Ron, RIP.

It was nice to see the crowd of FTC members at Ron's wake last night.
Ron was our FTC President in 1991. There were no less than 6 FTC Presidents at the gathering.
