local weather buoys

does anyone know if there is anything in the works as far as noaa getting our local buoys in order. (i.e. ambrose and f i weather buoy) i know there is another buoy off F I but that only gives us wave heights. was wondering if we'll ever get our local buoy info again.

No good news here:

Station 44025 ceased transmitting data 10/24/2013 (Fire Island Buoy)
They may place a new buoy there in September.

Station 44065 ceased transmitting data 05/18/2014. (Ambrose Buoy)
No information on repair...
