Sinker molding
My Dad and I mold our own sinkers, everything from 3-4 oz up to the 10-12 oz blackfish sinkers (our primary focus since I lose a ton of them). Now that my Dad is retired (HVAC) we have trouble securing the raw materials. Anyone who can get me some lead (Plumbers? Contractors?) will get some nice homemade sinkers in return ...

There is a scrap metal dealer/buyer in Freeport on Merrick road on the South side not to far from Home Depot. Last time I did sinkers I picked up about a 100 lbs of lead from them. Dr. John Weber, Miss Beahavin III

North Shore Scrap metal, just west of Buffalo Ave on south side of Merrick Road, Freeport Last time I purchased lead from them, I just showed up with my Town of Hempstead Recycling box, the weighed it, filled it with scrap lead, reweighed it , and I paid them, forgot the per pound price. I hace a couple of pounds of lead on hand, you are welcome to it. John Weber Jr.
